Fish Platter … Nobody fries fish like Marianne's Daddy… he's shared his secrets with Chef John. Served with crispy fries. 14.95

Shrimp Platter…. Fast becoming a St. Marys' favorite…with just the lightest of seasonings. Served with crispy fries. 17.95

Marianne's Seafood Platter … A platter filled with lightly seasoned shrimp;, calamari, fillet of grouper. A crab cake is added for good measure. Served with crispy fries.  21.95

Almond-Crusted Crab Stuffed Grouper… Marianne's favorite entrée is filled with a crab meat stuffing. Lightly pan sautéed finished with toasted almonds, Parmesan cheese and a rich crème sauce. Served with rice pilaf or mashed potatoes and Chef's choice vegetables.  21.95

Grouper Creole… My grouper Creole is as different as a Southern Drawl….Everyone North and South will enjoy this dish. Served over rice pilaf. 14.95

Marianne's Seafood Gumbo… Marianne's tomato base gumbo has been a house specialty for years. Served over rice pilaf.  17.95

Our Famous Shrimp and Grits….Shrimp sautéed with andouille sausage, red onions and flame roasted peppers. Slow simmered in a Cajun cream sauce. Served piping hot over a serving of creamy grits.  21.95

Folks come from miles around just to sample our smorgasbord of delicious homemade desserts ~ Pies, Three layer cakes, Bananna pudding served in a mason jar. And you never know what we might be baking in the kitchen. It all goes fast….Shhh! Our regular guest know…. to order their dessert before their entrée.

A little bit of personal history of

220 Osborne Street.

 

I loved this house as a child. The fields of paper-whites that bloomed in the spring. The rickety old pickett fence that swayed with the wind. The goldfish pond. The pillars of purple wisteria marking the way to the gazebo. My trips to the house to be treated by  Dr.Barker for the usual bumps and bruises of growing up. My Daddy had an opportunity to purchase this property in the '60. My sisters and I were so disappointed when Daddy said no; he built a fine home on Bealey Street. Life really is stranger than fiction. Who would have ever thought some forty years later; I'd be the keeper of this old girl. I am humbled by the opportunity to open my doors to strangers and friends alike. So enjoy the house, the good food, and recall a time when life seemed a bit kinder and gentler.

This house was built for love and laughter. We have hosted teas, birthday and anniversary parties, rehearsal dinners, weddings, first dance in the Gazebo. Parties for all occasions.
